Unai Emery has confirmed that Emile Smith Rowe did not suffer a “serious” injury in the win against Nottingham Forest.
The young forward was stretchered off in the first half after a clash with Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Arijanet Muric, but our head coach is satisfied he will be okay.
“He received a knock in his head and it was for precaution that we changed him,” Emery said. “But, I am thinking that it is going to be not a serious problem.
“It was one knock in his head.”
