West Ham have a big incentive to win this year's Europa Conference League owing to the club's major trophy drought, manager David Moyes has said.
Moyes' side face Gent at the London Stadium on Thursday evening bidding to reach the semi-finals of the competition, a year on from reaching the same stage of the Europa League, losing out to eventual winners Eintracht Frankfurt.
Speaking in the aftermath of his relegation-threatened side's encouraging 2-2 draw with Premier League leaders Arsenal, Moyes said the club's 43-year major trophy drought was motivation enough for the players to navigate a way past Gent.
