West Ham will confirm the signing of Kostantinos Mavropanos from Stuttgart after he passed a medical yesterday.
The 25-year-old centre back has joined for £18m with ten percent of the fee going to his former club Arsenal.
The East London club said goodbye to their former captain Declan Rice in a record £115million move to London rivals Arsenal.
Following the same Arsenal connections, David Moyes' side have been eyeing the Greek defender to help bolster their defence.
Mavropanos has been a key transfer target for the Hammers since their move for Manchester United's Harry Maguire collapsed, after the player insisted on staying at the Manchester club.
