Big outsiders West Ham might be, according to their own manager, in the chase for the Champions League which horse racing fan David Moyes likened to a race at Cheltenham.

But you certainly cannot fault West Ham’s staying power.

They had to display it on their way to clinching the victory against Leeds, especially quick starters in both halves, that was nowhere near the canter the final score line suggested.
