West Bromwich Albion’s aerial ace Craig Dawson struck twice at the Hawthorns as the hosts beat a disjointed Arsenal side 3-1 in the Premier League.
Already eliminated from the Champions League this season, the Gunners now look like they may be unable to qualify for next year’s competition after a limp performance in the Midlands.
Alexis Sanchez, who was battered throughout by his opponents, had managed to keep Arsene Wenger’s men in the match with an early equaliser, but Dawson’s double – both headers at corners, and a Hal Robson-Kanu strike, saw them out manoeuvred and outgunned.
