'We're getting back to where we want to be': Roy Hodgson praises his Crystal Palace team's solid defensive display in 0-0 draw with Arsenal as Eagles notch up consecutive clean sheets

Roy Hodgson was all smiles following Crystal Palace's battling 0-0 draw with Arsenal on Thursday, saying his team are building positive momentum.

On a night when Palace created some promising chances in attack, especially those that fell to Christian Benteke and James Tomkins, Hodgson was particularly impressed by his side's defensive performance.

'We defended excellently and I am very proud of them,' Hodgson told Sky Sports after the game.
