As one of the game's most decorated managers, Arsène Wenger is as a role model for coaches all over the world.
But his influence stretches further than just his counterparts, and he has earned plenty of plaudits from players too, especially in his native France.
One of those admirers is Thiago Motta who, after eight years of possession-based attacking football at Barcelona, has huge respect for everything Wenger has achieved during his time in north London.
“Creating such a style, an identity, takes a lot of time,” Motta said. “Barcelona and Arsenal have been working for the past 20 years in order to build a philosophy.
