Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang has said he was 'disgusted' by the Tunisian fans throwing bananas in the direction of Richarlison last month.

In Brazil's 5-1 victory over Tunisia last month in Paris, Richarlison was the victim of a racially aggravated incident that involved bananas being thrown by a section of the crowd.

Speaking to the BBC in an interview released on Saturday, Aubameyang, who himself was the victim of a similar incident in 2018 when a Tottenham fan threw a banana skin at him while playing for Arsenal, spoke of his disgust at the incident and re-emphasised the need for the game to eradicate such incidents.
