Civil war appears to be breaking out in the ranks of iconic Italian side AC Milan, with one of the club's most decorated legends Paolo Maldini set to get the sack.

Amid the decline of the once unrivaled side, things appear to be falling apart at the seams. Chief executive Ivan Gazidis, formerly of Arsenal, is poised to pull the trigger on sporting director Maldini, in light of a former member of the Milan hierarchy making scathing remarks.
