As part of our volunteering initiative, Arsenal in the Community regularly opens its doors to organisations seeking volunteering opportunities in the various community programmes we run across the week.
Last month we welcomed our official Wellness Partner, Vitality, to take part in four different community programmes including; a pensioner’s bowls session, an adult disability football session, gardening at our local nature reserve and a Coach Education session, part of our BTEC level 2 Sports programme where we develop young people to become football coaches.
Fourteen volunteers from Vitality took half a day out of the office and came down to our Community Hub for a briefing with Community officer Jack Ferguson before taking part in their activities.
