Having spent more than 10 months on the sidelines due to injury, Viktoria Schnaderbeck made her debut on Sunday as we beat Liverpool 5-1.
The 28-year-old came on as a substitute in the 83rd minute and showed no signs of rust, playing a number of probing passes into midfield.
It’s a welcome bonus ahead of our final four Women’s Super League outings.
“She’s worked very, very hard to return and she’s an important part of the group,” Joe Montemurro said afterwards.
“We brought her to the club as a main player and unfortunately it didn’t go too well for her at the start of the season with injury, but hopefully we can start to see the best out of her heading into the home stretch.
