Jack Wilshere’s young Gunners continued their impressive goalscoring form with a convincing 5-2 win over Fulham.
In what was a very young side, our team encountered challenges early on as we were compelled to make two substitutions due to unfortunate injuries sustained by Sam Chapman and Seb Ferdinand.
Shortly thereafter, we took the lead from the penalty spot, capitalising on Max Dowman's incisive play that drew a foul in the box. Chido Obi-Martin, who scored four goals in last week’s 8-3 win, confidently converted the spot-kick from 12 yards out.
Our second goal arrived swiftly, with Dowman once again showcasing his craft by drifting past defenders to set up Obi-Martin and give us a comfortable two-goal advantage.
