Striker Tyreece John-Jules has had his season and loan stay at Derby County ended by a hamstring injury.
The 22-year-old has returned to parent club Arsenal to recover and rehabilitate after having surgery.
John-Jules, who made just 14 appearances in an injury-hit campaign with the Rams, suffered the season-ending problem just days after renewing his loan with the League One club.
"I don't think he will play again this season," said Derby boss Paul Warne.
"He has had an operation and is having rehab at Arsenal at the moment, so I don't think we will see him again this season.
