Arsenal and Chelsea target Kostas Manolas is ready to get a £26million release clause inserted into his new contract.
The Greece international's current deal expires in June 2019 and he is deep in talks over fresh terms.
Roma want to tie the defender down after he was heavily linked with a move to Chelsea or Zenit St Petersburg in the summer.
But, according to Corriere dello Sport, Manolas' new contract will include a release clausee of £26m.
That news will be a huge boost for the likes of Chelsea and Zenit, who remain interested in the 26-year-old.
