Arsenal and Chelsea have been given a boost in their pursuit of Ricardo Rodriguez after Paris Saint-Germain director of football Patrick Kluivert vetoed a move for the Wolfsburg left-back.
Switzerland international Rodriguez, who is widely regarded as one of the most promising full-backs in Europe, is ready to leave the German side in search of a bigger club.
The Premier League duo have been alerted to 24-year-old's ambitions by his agent, as have PSG. But, according to L'Equipe, the French champions will not fight for Rodriguez because Kluivert has other targets in mind.
