Jamie Redknapp says Arsenal must back boss Mikel Arteta in the summer transfer window after their disappointing 1-0 defeat at Aston Villa.
The north London club have had a woeful domestic season and went into the match against relegation-threatened Villa lying in 10th place in England's top-flight.
Arsenal fans flew a plane over Villa on Tuesday night carrying a banner calling for owner Stan Kroenke to leave the club.
The aircraft, which carried the message 'Back Arteta, Kroenke Out', also called for Arteta to be backed in the transfer market this summer after a disappointing season in the Premier League.
