The result may have been frustrating, but Mikel Arteta could not be happier with backing we received from the Emirates Stadium crowd on Saturday.
Our head coach has spoken at length about improving the connection between the players and supporters, and he feels there has been clear improvement on that front.
"The fans were terrific, they were right behind the team and they appreciated every action as we were pushing them," Arteta told Arsenal Player.
"I’m so thankful to them because compared to how it was a month ago, I think it’s completely different.
