Arsenal will resume talks with Espanyol for goalkeeper Joan Garcia after agreeing to sell Aaron Ramsdale to Southampton.
The fee for Ramsdale is £18million, another £1m if Saints stay up and a further £6m in performance-related add-ons.
Arsenal have informed Ramsdale that he can leave if the Gunners receive a suitable offer for him.
Southampton switched their focus to Ramsdale after a move for Feyenoord goalkeeper Justin Bijlow collapsed.
Bijlow had been poised to sign for Southampton but the deal didn't take place after a problem with his medical.
