Emile Smith Rowe has been included in England’s 23-man squad for the upcoming U21 European Championships, which are taking place in Romania and Georgia this month.
Our midfielder has been part of a training camp that has been assembled at St George’s Park over the past couple of weeks, and included a behind-closed-doors friendly against Japan which saw the visitors triumph 2-0 when Emile played an hour.
He has done enough to impress boss Lee Carsley to earn his spot in the final Euros squad for a second time in his career, having made two appearances in the 2021 edition.
