Renee Slegers has fond memories of our involvement in last season’s Women's League Cup, as we beat Chelsea in the final at Molineux Stadium.
Ahead of our entry into the competition this season with Wednesday’s trip to Crawley to face Brighton & Hove Albion in the quarter-finals, she’s looking for the team to create more memories.
“I was with the team last year, I think we played a really good game and what I take from it mostly was the way we managed the game over 20 minutes; we start the game and finish the game, a lot of players involved but mostly how persistent we were, how we overcame difficult moments in the game,” she said in her pre-match press conference on Tuesday.
