This November, Arsenal is proud to stand together with football clubs throughout the United Kingdom in support of the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal.
Sgt Adam Desborough, Trumpet Major, will play The Last Post before kick-off today, and the club welcomes special guests CPOPT Liam Saunders from the Royal Navy, Sergeant Major,WO1 (RASM) James Lightfoot and Lance Bombardier Reece Mead-Lamont from The Royal Artillery, Flt Sgt Jamie Sutherland from the RAF and Captain Henry Tregear from the British Army. There will also be a moment of reflection before kick-off.
As a symbol of respect, Arsenal players will also wear shirts featuring the poppy emblem in the upcoming Premier League matches against Newcastle United and Chelsea, and our WSL game against Brighton & Hove Albion.
