Real Madrid 1-2 Arsenal (1-5 agg): Gunners romp to Champions League semi-finals as Bukayo Saka recovers from missed penalty before Gabriel Martinelli scores in added time

Arsenal reached the semi-finals of the Champions League after beating Real Madrid 5-1 on aggregate.

The Gunners, holding a 3-0 lead from last week's first leg, faced an early setback when Bukayo Saka saw his penalty saved by Thibaut Courtois.

However, Saka recovered and put his side ahead with a classy finish and while Vinicius Jnr equalised after a mistake from William Saliba, Real never threatened a comeback.

Gabriel Martinelli scored a second in added time to put the gloss on a memorable night for the Gunners.
