Ralph Hasenhuttl fumes at decision not to award his Southampton side a penalty in Aston Villa defeat as he says Matty Cash made a 'fantastic save' and Roy Keane and Jamie Carragher agree that Villa got 'lucky' with handball

Ralph Hasenhuttl has vented his frustration at a decision not to award Southampton a penalty as Jamie Carragher and Roy Keane labelled Matty Cash 'lucky' after the Aston Villa star was not penalised for an apparent handball.

A Ross Barkley strike just before half time was enough to seal all three points as Dean Smith's side leapfrogged Arsenal into eighth in what has been an excellent campaign thus far.

But the hosts came away from the contest at St Mary's Stadium aggrieved having been denied an early penalty following a handball incident involving Villa full back Cash.
