The Premier League will reportedly hold crunch talks with the six rebel clubs over their punishment for joining the disastrous European Super League, with fines totalling tens of millions of pounds a possibility.
Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs all pledged to be part of the breakaway competition that threatened the football landscape, only for all six clubs to pull out after 48 hours.
England's top flight is pressing ahead with plans to punish the group for their roles in the £3.5bn ploy, with the other 14 clubs understood to be upset by the scheme.
