The Premier League have offered an explanation for the controversial red card handed to Myles Lewis-Skelly against Wolves.
Lewis-Skelly, 18, has been one of the breakout stars of the season, with the defender impressing for the Gunners at left back.
However, disaster struck for the teen during the first half of Arsenal's trip to Molineux on Saturday when he was dismissed by referee Michael Oliver for a challenge on defender Matt Doherty despite the incident taking place inside the Wolves half.
Several fans and pundits were left shocked by the decision, with Tim Sherwood one of many to hit out.
