The Premier League made its long-awaited return to our television screens yesterday as Manchester City swept aside Arsenal while Sheffield United shared a point with Aston Villa.
While it took over 135 minutes of play to see the first goal across the two games at Villa Park and the Etihad, there was still plenty of controversy and talking points to make fans realised just how much we missed the beautiful game.
The games will only begin to ramp up now with the Premier League season back in full flow.
