'Pierre, I hope you're at Aston Villa next year!': Prince William joins an Arsenal Zoom call to talk about the importance of mental health care... and tries to encourage Aubameyang to join his beloved team

Prince William has joked he is hoping that Arsenal star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will sign for his beloved Aston Villa next season.

The Duke of Cambridge joined Aubameyang, Mikel Arteta, Per Mertesacker and Hector Bellerin on a Zoom call to discuss the importance of mental health care.

And Prince William, a renowned Villa fan, couldn't resist the opportunity to try and persuade Aubameyang to join his team.

'Pierre, I'm hoping you'll be at Aston Villa,' he said. The Arsenal players and staff taking part in the call responded by erupting in laughter.
