Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has said a move for Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is still "far from being close," as the club try to bring in the Gabon international before the close of the January transfer window.
The Gunners have made a £44 million bid for Aubameyang, but Dortmund want £60 million and could walk away from negotiations, per John Cross at the Mirror. Wenger said signing the striker is still possible, but the club are no closer to bringing in the 28-year-old.
He said: "I cannot tell you more.
