Aston Villa manager Unai Emery reacted to a sluggish first-half performance by his team in Saturday's Premier League clash with Wolves by making four substitutions during the interval.
Among the players to go off was star striker Ollie Watkins, who was recently the subject of an offer from Arsenal, which Villa rejected.
Watkins only touched the ball 12 times during the opening 45 minutes at Molineux and he failed to register a single shot.
However, his removal from the game may have been due to a fitness issue, rather than his poor performance, as the 29-year-old appeared to pick up an injury just before the break.
