Olivier Giroud's goalscoring return to the Arsenal side has helped the striker win back a place in the France squad.
After spending more than a month on the sidelines through injury, Giroud came off the bench in the Gunners' EFL Cup victory over Reading before scoring twice as a substitute at Sunderland in the Premier League.
Another goal followed, at Ludogorets in the Champions League on Tuesday night, and his fine form has resulted in Les Bleus boss Didier Deschamp summoning him into the national setup for games against Sweden and the Ivory Coast.
There is still no place for Karim Benzema, however, as the forward's enforced international exile continues.
