The Colombian should have done more to stop Eric Lichaj’s first goal but produced a couple of good saves to keep Arsenal in it during the first half. He couldn’t do much about Lichaj’s volley and either penalty.
The Egyptian put in a pedestrian display in the middle of the pitch which contributed hugely to the lack of drive Arsenal had. He will be lucky if he’s handed further chances this season.

If it hadn’t been for the Gunners’ injuries in defence it’s likely the German won’t have started.
