Tuesday’s Women’s Super League game was certainly a special one for Jordan Nobbs.
Not only did we bounce back from last week’s frustrating goalless draw with Yeovil Town, the England international also scored her 50th goal since joining us back in 2010.
“It’s incredible,” Nobbs told Arsenal.com. “To just score one goal for this club is amazing, let alone 50. I didn’t even realise it until they said it over the tannoy, so it’s a great feeling and hopefully there’s plenty more goals to come from me.
“I’m definitely claiming our third goal too. I scored direct from a corner against Millwall the other month and my aim is to just whip it as close to the goal as I can and hopefully we can either get a flick on or it goes in.
