Newcastle have held positive talks with Joe Willock and a deal for the Arsenal midfielder should be agreed today.
The Magpies have been chasing the 21-year-old all summer after he impressed during his loan spell in the second half of last season, when he scored in seven consecutive Premier League games.
Now there appears to have been a breakthrough, with very positive talks held between Newcastle, Willock and his father last night - and a move could be finalised as soon as this evening.
