He may be bidding to winning an elusive NBA Finals ring but Britain's Luol Deng has revealed another goal of his... to buy Crystal Palace.

Despite supporting Arsenal, the Los Angeles Lakers small forward grew up just minutes away from Selhurst Park as a youngster.

And speaking about his soft spot for Eagles, Deng has stated his ambition one day to own the club - if he ever becomes a billionaire.

'We just played Crystal Palace where Giroud scored that amazing scorpion-kick goal, but this is where it's tough because I grew up three minutes from the Crystal Palace stadium and when I was young on match day there was a hill where we could watch the Palace through a gap in the stadium.
