Myles Lewis-Skelly lost for words after marking his England debut with a record-breaking goal against Albania

Myles Lewis-Skelly was lost for words after becoming the youngest debutant to ever score for England as Thomas Tuchel secured a winning start to his tenure.

Tuchel lauded Lewis-Skelly's character as the 18-year-old took the plaudits from a 2-0 World Cup qualifying win over Albania in which Harry Kane struck a 70th international goal.

'I am so grateful for the manager to put trust in me,' the Arsenal teenager said. 'I am so happy, I'm lost for words.'

Tuchel admitted last week that the FA held lengthy deliberations as to whether to call on Lewis-Skelly but revealed that the youngster's impact on the squad has proven it to be a correct decision.
