Mohamed Elneny vows to 'fight' for Arsenal fans as midfielder responds to picture of crying boy by telling him: 'Your tears are so precious for all of us'

Mohamed Elneny has vowed to 'fight' in an attempt to cheer up the young Arsenal fan who was pictured crying during Sunday's Carabao Cup final loss.

Shortly after Manchester City scored their third goal in what proved to be a Wembley walkover, Sky Sports' live TV coverage showed footage of a boy in tears in the Gunners end of the stadium.

After seeing an image of the lad, Elneny — who was an unused sub in the final — posted it on Twitter on Monday alongside a determined message.
