Mikel Arteta will take a 'hands-on approach' to convincing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang that his long-term future lies at Arsenal, according to The Telegraph.
The striker's current contract, which is worth around £200,000 a week, expires at the end of next season and the club are yet to offer him an extension.
Arteta, however, believes Aubameyang can continue to be a star in his team beyond the summer of 2021 and wants to sit down with him to discuss a new deal.

The Telegraph claim that the Spaniard is confident that his personal approach can make a difference to Aubameyang, who is desperate to play Champions League football again.
