David Raya emerged as Arsenal’s hero as they booked their place in the Champions League quarter-finals in bad-blooded victory over Porto.
Goalkeeper Raya saved two penalties in a tense shoot-out after Leandro Trossard levelled the aggregate score to send the Emirates into delirium as the Gunners secured their place in the last eight for the first time since 2010.
But the game was marred by clashes between both sets of players and benches while rival managers Mikel Arteta and Sergio Conceicao, who accused his opposite number of insulting his family, were involved in a heated confrontation after the final whistle.
