Mikel Arteta admits Arsenal's defeat against Man City was a 'reality check' but insists the Gunners can still win the Premier League ahead of a vital clash against Chelsea

Mikel Arteta has told his Arsenal players to make sure they spend a 248th night at the top of the Premier League table by beating Chelsea, but they will be without William Saliba yet again.

Arteta, speaking the morning after Arsenal dropped to second in the table behind Manchester City, was asked about spending 247 days at the top.

Arsenal can return to first on Tuesday night when Chelsea visit the Emirates Stadium and Arteta said: ‘Tomorrow, 248, this is what I want. Win and be at the top.
