Mesut Ozil has taken a step closer to returning to the Arsenal first team after appearing at the club's training ground on Thursday.
The playmaker has not played since the 1-0 win over West Brom on Boxing Day due to flu with manager Arsene Wenger admitting on Wednesday that he had not seen him 'for a week.'
However, the German sent Arsenal fans into a frenzy by posting a picture of himself arriving at London Colney.
'Returning to Arsenal training ground after my flu,' Ozil wrote.
