We claimed the north London bragging rights thanks to Kim Little and Vivianne Miedema’s second-half strikes against Tottenham on Sunday.
This was our first ever top-flight meeting with our rivals and it was played in front of a record crowd of 38,262 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Chances were few and far between during the opening exchanges but Beth Mead came close when she won back possession, drove into the box and curled an effort wide of the far post.
Moments later, the hosts should have been ahead when Kit Graham saw her shot well saved by Manuela Zinsberger, who was quick off her line.
