Match report: Arsenal Women 6-1 Tottenham

Vivianne Miedema made history in the Women’s Super League on Sunday as we secured a memorable 6-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.

The Netherlands international became the first player in the competition’s history to reach 50 goals - but she didn’t stop there, as she scored a hat-trick to take her tally up to 52.

The last time we faced our north London rivals, we struggle to find our flow and it took us 72 minutes to break the deadlock. But it was quite the opposite this time around.

With just three minutes on the clock, Katie McCabe opens the scoring in specular fashion, finding the top corner with an outrageous free-kick from the tightest of angles.
