Our Champions League run came to a frustrating end in the quarter-finals on Saturday as we were beaten 2-1 by PSG.
Beth Mead scored on the stroke of half-time, but we were ultimately punished for a sloppy start and a leggy second-half performance.
Heading into the fixture, PSG had already played two competitive games in August and it certainly showed in the opening exchanges.
They dominated possession, pushing us deep into our own half, and soon took the lead through Marie-Antoinette Katoto’s stunning first-time effort.
It was no less than they deserved, but with so much attacking talent in our ranks, PSG remained wary of our pace on the break - and rightly so.
