Marseille sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta has lauded Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud as "a great player" – but refused to discuss a move for him.
The French club are reportedly tracking the Gunners forward ahead of the summer transfer window and they believe they can sign him.
Marseille have set aside £20m of their summer kitty to land Giroud and they think Arsenal will sell for that price.
Zubizarreta was quizzed on Marseille's interest in Giroud over the weekend after agreeing to do an interview with French newspaper Journal du Dimanche.
