Manchester City set to begin refunding season ticket holders with final six home Premier League games set to be played behind closed doors

Manchester City have moved to start refunding season ticket holders for the remaining games this season.

There are six unfulfilled Premier League fixtures left at the Etihad Stadium, including against Liverpool and Arsenal.

Fans were contacted on Wednesday afternoon to confirm automatic refunds in an email from chief operating officer Omar Berrada.

The process of money being transferred will begin over the coming days and fans do not need to apply for the rebate.

Those with one-off tickets for specific matches will also be refunded, while no decision on season tickets for next season has yet been taken.
