Manchester City are reportedly planning to hijack Arsenal's move to sign Brazilian wonderkid Savinho.
The highly-rated winger made his Atletico Mineiro debut as a 16-year-old and is being tipped to become one of the next best players in South American football.
The Gunners had been battling it out with Red Bull Bragantino for the teenager's signature last month, with the Brazilian club said to value the player at around £5.4million.
However, according to Globo, City Football Group – the organisation that owns Manchester City among a number of other clubs worldwide – have now registered their interest in signing the forward just months after winning the race to sign fellow South American starlet Kayky to their ranks.
