Manchester City continued their Premier League dominance as Kevin De Bruyne, record goalscorer Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus preserved their unbeaten start and made sure Arsenal would remain outside the top four.
After securing a two-goal cushion - first from De Bruyne, followed by Aguero's penalty - the result looked all but assured, until Alexandre Lacazette gave the Gunners hope with 20 minutes to go.
However, despite Arsenal's late flourish, controversy struck moments later as Jesus was presented a tap in by an offside David Silva to put any chance of a comeback to bed.
