Manager Jack Wilshere spoke of his 'devastation' after Arsenal's 5-1 FA Youth Cup final defeat to West Ham.
The former Gunners midfielder, who starred against Liverpool in the 2009 final when Arsenal last lifted the trophy, saw his young side capitulate after taking an early lead at the Emirates.
But Wilshere was still proud of the 'unbelievable memories' created during their thrilling run to the final.
He told the London Evening Standard: 'It's difficult to analyse that right now because my overriding feeling is devastation, really.
'Yes, there are big lessons for the boys tonight and it's important that they take them but they should be proud of themselves as well.
