Manchester United are no closer to agreeing a new contract with goalkeeper Mary Earps as the club face a race against time to negotiate a new deal before next week’s transfer deadline.
Arsenal have had two bids, understood to be higher than the £100,000 record fee for a goalkeeper, rejected by United - who remain adamant Earps is not for sale.
The England No 1 was out of contract in June but United triggered an option to extend her deal by a year.
The club have made extending her stay at the club a priority but Mail Sport understands no progress has been made.
