Leicester City have joined Arsenal in the race to sign Ryan Bertrand when he officially leaves Southampton this summer.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the Saints confirmed the 31-year-old would leave St Mary's on a free transfer in June, and a host of clubs including AC Milan and Monaco are said to have registered their interest.
The Gunners in particular though have been long-term admirers and boss Mikel Arteta is believed to retain interest in Bertrand, who they targeted in January to provide back-up for first-choice left-back Kieran Tierney.
